There are really many ways to promote your fundraiser! We especially encourage you to:
- Share information about the fundraiser on your personal social media profiles. Share your campaign with family, close friends, and acquaintances.
- Create your own profile on Facebook and/or Instagram. With social media profiles, you can maintain regular contact with Donors. You can share your fight against illness and inform them about your progress. In the Needs Panel, you will find personalized materials that you can attach to every post informing about the fundraiser. Remember to always add links to your fundraiser in every post.
- Set up a Facebook auction group. Auction groups work great: they allow different people to post items and buy them, and all proceeds from this are allocated to the fundraiser. Here (LINK) you will find an example of such a group.
- Write requests to share the fundraiser on profiles and groups with various reach. These can be thematic profiles and groups related to your interests, where you previously shared your opinions.
- Reach out to your university/workplace for support. They may agree to use their communication channels (e.g., newsletter, social media) to promote your fundraiser.
- Share information about the fundraiser in local groups related to your place of residence.
- Write a request for sharing on local profiles (e.g., city hall) related to your place of residence.
- Send requests for sharing information about the fundraiser to celebrities, artists, and politicians with large followings on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Reach out to companies (e.g., local ones) for support.
- Use flyers and posters. Ready-to-print files with all the information about the fundraiser and bank details can be found in the Needs Panel – feel free to use and distribute them, for example, in local shops, schools, and kindergartens.
- Inform local media about the fundraiser. If you need to legitimize the fundraiser and media statements, the Siepomaga Foundation offers support.
- If you belong to another foundation besides Siepomaga, it is also worth reaching out to them for help in promoting the fundraiser, as they may have communication channels or other support for their Beneficiaries.
