How can I set up authentication for the Oauth user?

Step 1

• Make sure you are NOT logged in to the accounting system;
• In QicsMilestones go to menu System > Security > OAuth users;
• Right-click on the OAuth user;
• Choose 'Authentication';

• The accounting system login page is displayed;
• Enter the login details as known;
• After logging in, a screen as shown below will appear: 

• Leave all checkboxes checked and click [Yes, Allow];
• When authentication is successful, the message below will be displayed]

• Finally, select the user to whom QicsMilestones will gain access. Select the [e-mail] account here .

• You can close the authentication notification screen. In QicsMilestones you can now see that the OAuth user has been authenticated and the date on which the authentication will expire;

Go via the main menu >> to System>system settings>[Oauth] tab to set a notification x number of days before the authentication expires.

• From now on, the link will automatically pick up invoices for synchronization.

QicsMilestones synchronizes with the accounting systems every 15 minutes between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM by comparing and updating the data every 15 minutes.

NB:

It is important that you do not change the name and password of the OAuth user, otherwise the link will not be restored.

For certain accounting systems, the user must meet minimum requirements. These requirements are:

• Manage periods;
• View relationships;
• Manage relationships.
